While walking with Vicki this evening along the Cass River in Heritage Park, we noticed the beautiful sunset. As I stopped to take the shot, I marveled at the calmness of the Cass, smooth as glass and the reflection of the sunset in the mirror like water.
Working in the yard, spreading mulch, I had to stop and take in the beautiful bloom of our Peony plant. The peony produces big beautiful flowers like this one. As the saying goes, “sometimes you need to stop and smell the roses”, or in this case the Peony. Take time from the busyness that occupies so much of our lives today, to stop and see the beauty of God’s creation. He speaks to us with more than words, God’s “eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. ” Romans 1:20 ESV
