Wow, this morning on the way to a meeting, I had to pull over and take a photo. The sky looked like it was on fire. I shot this photo with my iPhone4S, and processed in Dynamic Light.
It took a while, but our tree finally turned. For about 2 weeks, the tree was mostly green with just the tips turning orange. This morning the morning sun lit the orange leaves beautifully.
Meredith loves the forest, we shot this to emphasize the beautiful trees in their Autumn foliage.

I love this time of the year, the smell of Fall is in the air, leaves are ablaze with brilliant colors, and the pumpkins, apples, squash, and gourds are ready for harvest. Ahhh, Autumn in Michigan.

Yesterday was the Last Day of Summer, so today we celebrate the First Day of Autumn, also known as, Autumnal Equinox. The new season brings with it the colorful leaves, football, baseball playoffs and the world series.
