I really like our Hosta plants. I like the leaves with their straight lines running, end to end, and I really like when the hostas are in bloom. The dainty little blossoms hang down, and humming birds visit to drink the nectar. My hope is to one day capture an image of a humming bird dining at the hosta blossom.
The Iris is blooming. Most of our Iris flowers are purple. I like the way it looks as a black and white photo.
We planted this Flowering Crab tree last Spring, so this is the first set of blooms we have had on it. We were hoping it would be filled this year, with the beautiful pink blossoms.
We are a getting nearer to April, when the showers bring the May flowers; but we have had unseasonably warm weather, so we are seeing March flowers. Just look around, the trees are blossoming, crocus and tulips have pushed their way up through the soil. Spring fever is in full bloom!
